2.10.2010 Run to the Antarctic

©RTAOn Saturday, 2.10.2010, the run to the antarctis between a German and an Austrian Team startet with a first training in the Climatic-Wind-Tunnel Vienna.

Starring athlet in the Austria Team is the former skiing champion Hermann Maier. They tried to built their tents, walk for 1,5 hours and cook meals in the tents unter realistic antarctic conditions: -35°C, up to 80km/h wind speed and real snow.

RTA wishes both teams good luck for their journey!
