Measurement equipment
General data acquisition can be divided into facility-specific parameters that are fed to the central computer via a bus system and mobile data acquisition systems, which are used in test specific measurement setups.
The mobile measurement systems are designed to capture data from up to 1000 measurement points, the instruments ranging from air and surface temperature sensors, humidity sensors and low-speed anemometers to pressure sensors for coolant pressures, to displacement, force and vibration transducers to current, voltage and power transformers etc.
PT100 sensors are mainly used for temperature measurements. The data acquisition systems are provided with special plug-in cards for this purpose. Data capture from all other sensors is via normal voltage plug-in cards with adjustable measuring range.
The electrical signal of each sensor is converted into a physical value by a central computer using the sensor’s specific calibration coefficients and subsequently stored on the server.
The customer has online access to these data at any time. The tests are evaluated during the testing procedure according to customer requirements, the results being available upon completion of the tests.
